Explore Youth & Family Therapy

Explore volunteers working bees consistently happen on Saturdays over autumn/winter. As well as mending boats they are currently making ship shape the great new premises made available to us for storing of gear, boats and tools. Several members are really pleased to have some of their own garages and spaces back at home! They are a truly generous and great group of people who enjoy a common purpose. You are welcome
to join them at working bees or in various ways on the water! No sailing experience required - we will teach you!
Here is an exciting excerpt from our Xplore eNews July 2017

"YaFT is happy to inform you of our new name Explore Youth and Family Therapy. Our name change has come about from a number of years of shared vision; a common desire to help and care for young people, especially those at risk and a recognition of synergy where the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts - in our case, a companionship between YaFT and Xplore Tri-Yak Adventures.

YaFT has been blessed by Xplore AT's enormous goodwill, shared journey and companionship to reach a destination of seeing young people and families in our community becoming more whole."

companion: 1. a person or group with whom one travels 2. each of a pair of things intended to complement or match each other
origin: Latin com (together with), Latin panis (bread) Old French: one who breaks bread with another

Peace,
