growing personal insight through counselling / therapeutic safe spaces
Robert provides counselling and outreach support for young people in need, youth at risk, families, couples, individuals and groups. Robert specialises in supporting youth who are at risk of or are homeless and where possible is inclusive of families.
Young people 'at risk' may be referred by a concerned person in contact with the young person at home, school, youth refuge or residential home, government department, family and friends.
Robert provides therapeutic, relational short to long-term counselling. We focus on each person discovering self-efficacy, building resilience, gaining skills and confidence to go into the future. Robert supports a young person in connecting to their community. Counselling aims to create a safe space in which a young person can rediscover their own potential and learn to develop meaningful relationships with those around them.
